Your Model Program or Legislation

If you have a model program or legislation, and would like for us to either provide comments or would like to feature it on our web site, please send what you have as an attachment to our general mailbox, info@nfvlrc.org. We will consider showcasing your program or legislation on our site if it is not gender-biased, if it is research based, and if it represents a reasonable alternative to the traditional "one-size-fits-all" psychoeducational group model.

Please include the following information:

1. The public policy category, or categories, in which your program/legislation falls: Law Enforcement Responses; Interventions; Victim Services; Family Law and Family Violence; Prevention, Education and Outreach.
2. Contact information for anyone interested in knowing more about the program or legislation, including name, e-mail address, regular address, and phone number.
3. If you are sending us a piece of legislation, include the name of the sponsor(s)
4. The entire bill, or whatever you have for the model program.
5. A brief summary, no longer than 100 words, describing the features of your model program or legislation, including its purpose.

After the members of our advisory committee look over what you sent us, we will get back to you with suggestions for improvement and other comments. If we approve, we will feature your model program/legislation on our site.
